Groups: We offer support by providing a group atmosphere for personal growth.

Referral: When appropriate, we help with information needed to secure the right counselor outside the Counseling Center.

Financial counseling: The BABBCENTER provides financial counseling for those seeking assistance in the area of budgeting and other forms of money management.

Benevolence Ministry: First Baptist Church’s Benevolence Ministry is administered through The BABBCENTER. Church members who need benevolence assistance should come by The BABBCENTER and fill out a Request for Assistance Form.

Career Counseling: The BABBCENTER offers career counseling for those seeking assistance with a job search or career direction.

Parish Nurse Ministry: The Parish Nurse Ministry office is located in The BABBCENTER. Nurses who are members of First Baptist Church and are interested in serving in this ministry should call the Parish Nurse Office at 615.824.3772. If you need medical information or would like a consultation with a parish nurse, please call the Parish Nurse Office at 615.824.3772 to set up an appointment.

Individual, family, or couples counseling: Counselors provide counseling sessions for children, adolescents, and adults.

Additional services available at The BABBCENTER include the Handyman Ministry for those needing assistance with home repairs, Crisis Care information regarding community resources, pre-marital counseling, psychiatric services, psychological testing, a Griefshare support group, nutrition counseling, coaching, a ministry to ministers and their families, Expressways to Learning for children and adults and an Alzheimer support group.
